The national standard "Bamboo Charcoal Composite Board" (GB/T 43212-2023) was released on September 7, 2023, and will be implemented on April 1, 2024. This standard defines the terminology and specifications for bamboo charcoal boards, and stipulates the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage.
The standard applies to the manufacture and testing of bamboo charcoal composite boards made by mixing bamboo charcoal powder, polymer resin, and other auxiliary materials, followed by high-temperature melting, extrusion, and cutting. The standard specifies the main physicochemical properties of bamboo charcoal boards, including moisture content, water absorption thickness swelling rate, flexural strength, Shore hardness, fire resistance rating, formaldehyde emission, and TVOC emission. Formaldehyde emission is required to be ≤0.025 mg/m³ according to GB/T 39600 standard. Appearance quality inspection adopts the sampling plan of GB/T2828.1-2012, AQL=4.0; physicochemical performance testing is performed according to GB/T 17657-2022. This standard is related to GB/T 17657-2022, GB/T 39600, and other standards.
